Delayed...

My flight is delayed. I hate when this happens. I am sitting in Sky Harbor Airport waiting to go to L.A. very thankful for WiFi. I should have expected my flight to be delayed considering the time of year I am flying. I just want to get to L.A. and see Abby and Andrew. Oh, and the rest of my family, of course. Andrew is at such a fun stage right now and I want to spend as much time with him as possible.
I am sad that I have had to leave Kyle behind. He is having to work on Christmas, so he decided to stay home this year. I am going to be gone for several days. I miss him already.
I will be posting more about my travels this week. Hopefully some photos too! In case I don't talk to you, have a very Merry Christmas!!!!!

What a day

I had quite the day today. I was up before the sun even thought about rising. With DH working on the weekends, I get up about the same time he does. It is nice because I get my day started early. So back to today... I headed out to a friend's house to play with her little ones for a couple hours. A great way to start the day. She broke her foot about six weeks ago and is still on crutches. I thought I could kill two birds with one stone...help out my friend and get my baby/kid fix. I just love her kids. What I love too is that they recognize me and the oldest remembers my name. Since I do not have children of my own and my nephew is so far away, I am blessed to have great friends who let me "borrow" theirs. So thanks M, I had a great time today. I hope the boys did too.

From there I proceeded to three Wal-Marts, the ribbon store, picked up the envelopes for my Christmas cards, two Jo-anns stores, Costco, Dollar Tree, and Trader Joe's. As you can see, I had several missions to accomplish today. I checked everything off of my list! The highest priority on the list was going ot TJs to get the Candy Cane Joe-Joe cookies. Big surprise that it was food... My Foxy Friends have raved about them for the past week and I had to get my hands on some. I just love peppermint so I knew I would love them. And yes, I love them! One of the girls posted a truffle recipe for them, so I will have to try that out. Yum!

I found this on a friend's blog. If it wasn't for the outrageous price, I would own it. It would look great in my scrapbooking/sewing area. Maybe someday...

I think that will be all for tonight. I am beat and I still have a bunch of stuff to do.

Let's try this again

I have tried on several occasions to do the blogging thing and they haven't panned out. I have decided to do one of my New Year's resolutions early this year and start a blog. I enjoy reading my friends' blogs, so I wanted to give it another try. I cannot guarantee how often I will write, but I will try to do it as often as possible.
I can't wait to get my thoughts down somewhere. They are clogging up my brain!!!
